Honolulu, HI – TeamPraxis is pleased to announce the promotion of Troy Tamashiro to Executive Vice President of Practice Management. In this new role, Troy will become key in leading TeamPraxis toward their future goals. He will be working closely with President and CEO of TeamPraxis, Creighton Arita.

Troy was born and raised in Hawaii. He joined TeamPraxis as an intern in 1996.  Since then, he has been instrumental in pioneering some of the most well-established, value-based reimbursement models and population health programs in Hawaii. When not at the office, he enjoys several outdoors and fitness activities like crossfit, jiu-jitsu, fishing, and camping.

 “Troy is the type of leader that people want on their team,” explains Creighton Arita. “Troy has grit, discipline, leads by example, has an infectious ‘can do’ attitude, and is a one-team player.” 

As Executive Vice President of Practice Management, Troy will oversee the entirety of TeamPraxis’ practice management division. This includes medical billing operations, business development, IT, HR, admin, help desk, and the development roadmap for TeamPraxis’ flagship products ConnxtMD and ConnxtAI.

“We have an important duty in helping Hawaii improve our healthcare system,” explains Troy. “If we collaborate appropriately, we can do this for the greater good of Hawaii.”
