HONOLULU, HI – DataHouse is pleased to announce their newest addition to the team, Becky Arakawa. Becky will be taking on the role of Vice President of Business Development.

Prior to joining the DataHouse family, Becky spent over thirty years in information technology consultative sales at IBM where she was an expert in collaborating with clients to develop solutions to capitalize on business opportunities, enhance revenue, and mitigate risk. As a Software Client Leader during her last sixteen years at IBM, Becky was responsible for the planning and execution of the overall strategy of IBM’s software portfolio in Hawaii.

“We’re very fortunate and excited to have someone of Becky’s reputation and credentials joining the DataHouse team,” explains Eddie Ontai, President of DataHouse. “Not only does she bring thirty-plus years of sales and solution experience from “Big Blue” (IBM), but more importantly, she understands the importance of delivering value to our clients. We’ve actually known and worked with Becky as a strategic partner for many years so it’s a natural fit for her to now be a part of our ohana.”

Becky will be responsible for the strategy and execution of sales, business development, and customer relationship management and is dedicated to assisting clients with robust digital business transformation solutions.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the DataHouse team and ‘ike family,” says Becky. “To sustain a business in our highly competitive intimate island community for more than forty years is a testament to DataHouse’s ability to adapt and thrive. As an IBM business partner for the last fifteen-plus years, I’ve watched DataHouse strategically expand, optimize, and diversify their portfolios to stay ahead of the curve. Above all, their team talent is unparalleled, sharp, motivated, and filled with aloha—the best and the brightest. It’s why DataHouse is one of the most insightful and respected technology companies in Hawaii. What a privilege it is to join the ‘ike ohana.”
